Suffolk County Municipal Employees Benefit Fund |
|||
|
Fund members often call us for matters that we can't help with. It's important that you know that the Fund is not a County or Union office. That's why we can't transfer your call to the right place and, in most cases, aren't even sure where your call should be directed. Questions regarding your County sponsored medical benefits should be directed to Employee Benefits in the department of Civil Service or the Empire Plan if that is your primary medical plan. For prescription questions other than the Fund's $20 co-pay reimbursement benefit should be directed to Express Scripts. Express Scripts is responsible for issuing your year-end prescription statement. Job-related problems and/or questions or special membership incentives should be directed to the *union representing you. In almost all cases, questions regarding your pension plan should be directed to either Employee Benefits or the New York State Retirement System. |
